01What is Enterface?+
Enterface is an AI building workstation for keeping the whole project in view while you plan, build, review, and operate it. It brings AI workspaces, code, terminal, files, project context, connected services, and decisions into one project-aware desktop workspace.
02What does “AI building workstation” mean?+
It means one place designed for the full act of building with AI—not only prompting and not only writing code. Enterface keeps the active project around the agent, terminal, files, previews, changes, services, and operational context involved in getting real work shipped.
03What is a meta-harness?+
An agent harness gives an AI model tools, context, and a way to act. Enterface sits one level above the supported harnesses you already use. It coordinates project context, navigation, review, and handoffs across them without pretending they are all the same tool. That is why we describe Enterface as a meta-harness.
04Does Enterface replace Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, or my terminal?+
No. You keep using the tools and accounts you trust. Enterface gives the project a consistent home around them, so switching tools does not mean reconstructing the project from scratch.
05Does Enterface build the app for me?+
Enterface is not a one-prompt app generator. The AI workspace or terminal you choose performs the work; Enterface keeps that work attached to one understandable, reviewable project.
06Can I move work from one AI agent to another?+
Enterface supports reviewed handoffs. You choose the useful project brief, constraints, decisions, and references that should move next; the original conversation remains with its provider. Nothing should be silently copied wholesale.
07Will every AI have access to everything in Enterface?+
No. Access is deliberate and bounded by the active project, the selected tool, its capabilities, and your approvals. Enterface can prepare useful project context, but each provider keeps its own account, permissions, and limitations.
08What are Subagents in Enterface?+
Subagents are project-specific specialist roles with visible instructions, context, and outcomes. They are not an invisible autonomous swarm: you can review what each role receives, see its status, and inspect the result.
09What does local-first mean here?+
The desktop app keeps its project map, workspace state, and recovery information on your Mac first. Connected services continue to follow their own account and security models.
10Does Enterface store passwords, tokens, browser history, or private AI transcripts?+
Enterface is designed not to treat secrets, raw browser history, arbitrary terminal arguments, or private provider transcripts as project intelligence. Context sharing should be explicit, limited, and reviewable.
11Can I use Enterface with an existing project?+
Yes. Add the project folder, then bring in only the repositories, services, domains, deployments, databases, notes, and relationships that matter. There is no requirement to rebuild or migrate the project into Enterface.
12Do I need to connect every service before I start?+
No. You can begin with one project and one AI workspace or terminal. Add services and project items as they become relevant.
13Who is Enterface for?+
Enterface is for solo builders, founders, developers, designers, and small teams using AI to create and operate real products—especially when the work has outgrown a pile of tabs and disconnected chats.
14When can I download it?+
